Day 1 - Saturday
Check-in to your apartment. It’s time to start enjoying the sea and exploring the beach. Tonight, you’ll meet the other families at the welcome meal, but i’m sure names will have already been exchanged around our swimming pool and sun terrace.
Sea kayaking & Snorkel
Day 2 - Sunday
No prior experience is needed for Sea kayaking. These are ‘open top’ vessels, so guests do not have to worry about being strapped in.
We’ll cruise from Trogir down the coastline stopping at points of interest and bathing in the warm Adriatic waters.
Zipling & beaches
Day 3 - Monday
The Omis adventure zip lining is just outside of the town and is another great activity to try. Zip lining is always a major hit with families, wizzing down the high rope lines and navigating the canyons and tree lines.
However, if you’re looking for teenage activity holidays without the challenges of height – we can certainly be flexible and parents can enjoy the shopping streets of Omis or the blue flag beaches.
Day 4 - Tuesday
The thing about a family Croatia adventure holiday is there is such an abudnace of natural beauty around you; it is hard to pick out your favourite day.
Today your guide will take your family on a wonderful cycling tour through some wonderful nature spots. You will cycle through lavender covered meadows, along old train tracks and through medieval villages.
As always a moderate level of fitness is required but our guide will always make sure you are happy and the pace is right for our active single parent families.
Free Day Or book more !
Day 5 - Wednesday
Today is a free day so you can relax, go swimming in the sea, or enjoy our gorgeous swimming pool and modern sun lounging terraces.
Day 6 - Thursday
Today we head out to sea with your dedicated guide on a special boat day. As well as getting chance to see more of Croatia’s coastline and coastal towns you will also have chance for a spot of deep sea swimming and after working up a nice appetite the captain organises a lovely fish picnic.
Of course for parents with restless teenagers you can take the opportunity to soak up a few rays while the kids tire themselves out swimming, diving and playing games with our family guide.
Day 7 - Friday
It is very difficult to compare one day to the next. However, our family canyoning activity day in Croatia is one of the most magical days we offer.
Today you will have chance to climb down into the Cetina canyon, and take on this incredible water world. Splash, jump, slide, crawl, walk, swim, Hi-5
Day 8 - Saturday

Podstrana offers the very best of the Split Riviera, offering the very best location for family activity holidays in Croatia. Positioned next to the sea & beaches, with easy access to canyons, rivers, countryside, Split and the airport – there is no better place to stay for active family vacations.
Canyoning was our favourite activity for the whole family – seemed more adventurous than the other activities. Cycling was very good as well; it lasted for the right amount of time, with all the stops – great! Accommodation could improve if they include drying facilities in every room, otherwise the apartments were very good. It was fantastic that kids were allowed to use pool late at night! The reps were fab too. Listening to Croatian history and local knowledge of reps was very informative, interesting and added to the experience! Overall – excellent, thanks a lot! Regards, Karen and kids.

My two teenagers say this was an absolute highlight of their summer. I would recommend to other parents travelling with kids.

We booked this trip 4 years ago and I apologise for not leaving a review. This is a brilliant trip, your kids will love it. My only comment is that the route for kayaking should be more suitable for bigger kids (mine were 10 & 11 and struggled in the end). I am not the biggest fan of water but jokes and funny stories that Daniel was telling us along the way made the trip so much fun. I’m glad that my kids talked me into this, as we did see the parts of rural Croatia we wouldn’t usually ever get to see.

This was our first time doing a single parent adventure holiday. First time in a raft, and our first family adventure holiday in Croatia. We were so lucky that we had such a funny and understandable tour leader. Marko made us all feel safe all the way through. We loved every second of the multi-active week! The River was fresh when we always stopped for a swim when we could. Thanks guys, you made our week in Croatia so exciting and great! For single parents looking to buddy up with similar mums and dads, and to keep your teens smiling, join this trip.

We hear this might be the last single parent adventure holiday in Croatia you might run, which is terrible news. We had a fantastic time, a lovely mix of mums and dads in the same boat. All the kids mixed well, with a few younger ones showing us parents up – doing the activities better than us! This is definitely a teenager activity holiday type experience. The activities team were awesome , enthusiastic and inclusive of all ages. The pool is great but not massive, and the beach is just a stroll away. We loved Brac island, and our favourite activities were SUP boarding and climbing. My daughter who is 14 years, said this was her best ever family holiday. Mum 1, Ex-husband 0.

I was really impressed how clean Croatia is. The people are friendly and love to show off their culture and traditions. Go before the mass tourism comes. Split was by far the best city, Dubrovnik was nice but over crowded at times. My teenagers are fans of Games of Thrones and they loved walking the routes of their favourite characters.

It’s really hard to say what our favourite day was. Sea kayaking was relaxing and scenic, canyoning was an explorers heaven and tubbing was laughs per minute. The views were stunning, the guides were friendly and the activities very varied to keep up our interest levels. My three teenagers were not bored. Top tips for parents, try to increase your fitness before hand. Some mums struggled and didn’t enjoy the experience as much as everyone else. You don’t have to be incredibly fit, but those that never exercise or carrying that chocolate timber, they might want to walk the dog a bit more. This is a family activity holiday after all. Overall this family activity holiday in Croatia was well planned and operated. Guides were all local and very friendly. My kids loved them! So did I !

The week was a very nice blend of adventure fun and relaxation. Podstana is a gem, with accessible taxis to Split for night time exploration and even more restaurant choice. The group gelled together very well, teenagers of similar ages and my two 10 year old girls loved the activities. Jennie our main rep was a magician with the teens, always keeping them entertained. Super week, many thanks.

Very nice experience, for our first time trying an active holiday. Nevin, Annon, Jennie and Jelena were so kind and wonderful guides. As a single parent, it took alot of pressure off my shoulders. Many thanks, i would consider coming again.
