Cycling
Family cycling and mountain biking in Croatia is a year round sport, and our adventure company has routes and terrains for all abilities, from easy descents to hardcore off trail white knuckle rides. Where better to mountain bike, than in the Croatian mountains, with fresh air and spectacular scenery. We promise you won’t regret trying this amazing outdoors sport here with us.
Our cycling day tours & biking holidays are based all over Croatia, but some of the very best highlights are found in and around Split. Here in this picturesque UNESCO town, we discover small towns, pass quiet villages, cross streams, negotiate woodlands and cool off in the Adriatic Sea. Book cycling as part of your families multi adventure holiday or try our week long programs, where we offer sail biking trips as we island hop on the sailing Croatia experience.

Come join the fun !
Croatia is a beautiful country and an ideal destination to explore by bike. Our Croatia Mountain biking day trips and cycling day tours show our guests the very best places.
The cycling pace is tailored to all our family groups but generally you are looking to achieve 20-30 km per day, so a moderate level of fitness is required and previous mountain biking experience is recommended.
Discover green valley trails bursting with vineyards, from Roman hill sides to villages with mystical stones.
Relax and ride, descend into the regions gorges, glide alongside the sparkling Adriatic Sea and stop at some wonderful farm houses.
Our Split cycling day tours are so much fun, just send your no obligation enquiry.
Dobra dan
Dobra dan, some reflections at the end of the week of Crotian biking. Many times during the week we had to pinch ourselves to remind us that this is real – this beauty, the wonderful people, God’s creation of this meeting of land and sea. Each day we cycled into a different village by the sea, hopped on our bikes and climbed from sea level, crossing the mountains and enjoyng the remarkable views of the neighboring islands and the company of our Aussie bike companions and the commentary and encouragement of Robert, our Croatian guide. When we finish biking, we have a shower and look for the deck chair with the best view and settle in until dinner is served. Last night in the resort town of Makarska, we went to a wonderful sidewalk restaurant on the square. They were accompanied by guitar and violin so it was very special. Today, sadly, is our last riding day. We will bike to s special spot, an old mill where a river (fresh water) and canyon run close to the sea. Often, we think as we head to special areas that we can now cross them off our wish list- not so with Croatia — we need to come back.

Hot day in June
Although we cycled on a quite hot day in June, we did enjoy our cycling tour. We stopped often to rehydrate and to grab a bite. Our guide Marko was great, he encouraged us to stay on the bike through some of the small hills en route, when we thought we’d rather be walking than cycling. I would say that guides are quite important part of the experience and we were very happy with the whole service.

So passionate about
We highly recommend this cycling day tour. We had the most amazing time with our guide Marko. It’s wonderful to see someone so passionate about their country and their job. We are looking forward to doing some of the other outdoor activities you offer, hope that the guides are as good as ‘our’ Marko!

Great Holiday memories
We cannot sit still as a family, with 3 very active teenagers and gym going mum. We booked 5 activities through your company and cycling was our favourite. In reflection, we should have booked your one week adventure holiday instead, this has been my only regret. But we hope to join yo again next year. Cycling was our favourite tour, thanks Russo. Super guide, loads of knowledge & banter. Super guy. Thanks to Drina in the office for answering all my annoying detailed questions.

Did a great job
Last year our family decided to spend a few days on a self cycle and thoroughly enjoyed it. The balance of changing locations was out weighed by the positives, but packing etc everyday was a little annoying – so this got me to researching guided trips. Luka, our main travel contact at your company, did a great job in giving me honest advice and counsel over the phone and was a reassuring presence throughout the booking. Sevid was a quiet village, about forty minute drive from the airport. We were met by your staff and introduced to other guests already arrived there. Meals were much better than expecting, being a three star apartment I didn’t set the bar high, I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were cleaned daily, bright and colourful, maybe bathrooms were a little tired but always clean. We didn’t have a bath, but that’s a small gripe. Our tour leader was helpful, questions answered with a smile, the days were well planned and well paced. If you like cycling and want to discover Croatia, you can’t go wrong with this trip, i just wished the standard of accommodation was of a higher standard, as we are used to 4 or 5 star properties.

beautiful on every turn
The bikes were great and my wife appreciated you upgrading to the e-bike. Fantastic routes, very professional and the scenery was absolutely beautiful on every turn. We loved these cycling tours so much we are going back next year for your sail and biking holidays.

Fabulous in every way
My family and I did two of your guided cycling tours from Split. The cycling tours went way beyond our expectations and we had very high expectations, so truly well done. Ivo was the best guide, a true gentleman!

Amazing cycling Split tour
The route is well thought out, with our guide showing points of interests all the way along. We biked through the city, reaching the top of Marjan Hill park and then rode through some of the Split UNESCO old town. Our biking guide was very caring and showed a lot of support to Benny my youngest son. She was called ‘Tina’ and we can’t praise her enough. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and super friendly to the kids on the tour. We got to experience the history of Split as well as the raw beauty of Dalmatia region. I’m giving the tour 3 out of 5 stars, as it should be advertised for older children. My youngest struggled and didn’t love it. Overall, it was a good experience and thanks again Tina.

I was pleasantly surprised
Overall, we had a great time cycling with you and i feel in better shape and the smell of lavender is still in my dreams. Very poetic I know. I was pleasantly surprised that my kids want to try more cycling trips.

Perfect location and very clean
Just wanted to say a big thank you for arranging our mountain biking break in Cropatia. We thought it was so pretty and the days were just right. Our apartments were lovely, perfect location and very clean. We will be back

All was spot on
Being a bunch of cycling vets, i wasn’t sure if i needed help in organising this trip. How wrong was i!!! Your cycling guides took alot of the stress and strains out this trip and route planning. Transfers & bikes were in place, Ante our guide was amazing, and we like the restaurant we stopped for lunch in. All was spot on. I was really impressed with the quality of the cycling routes created for our families. Defo the best i’ve experienced after the Pyrenees. Overall – i would recommend your family cycling tours to others.

The combination was perfect
We did a family active holiday in Croatia last year and loved it, but didn’t get a chance to go cycling. We found you guys on google and impressed with your e-mails and offers. The tour was part designed by me, part designed by your staff and we felt that the combination was perfect. Not too hard for the younger members of our family, but challenging enough for the teenagers. Ivan was a nice chap, knowledgeable and nice to talk too. Although i felt he could have mixed with the kids a bit more (i’m sure he will as he grows in experience). Split was interesting and i’m glad we had lunch there. This area is definitely suited for family cycling, and we enjoyed ourselves.
