Dubrovnik day tour
Dubrovnik is an iconic Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea. It is one of the most prominent & must-see tourist destinations for Croatia family holidays, a seaport and cultural hotspot. Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites and offers many advantageous view spots, shopping opportunities and high standard cuisine.
Your Croatia adventure guide will help your family & teenagers get the most from this day. We can be extremely informative or totally laid back. If you wish, we can help make further island tours to Lokrum and Elaphite. We can try Sea kayaking around the old town walls & harbour, go climbing or hike 415 metres above the city walls in the nearby hills.
You’ll be amazed by the breath taking views, as you discover the Old town, Francisian and Dominican monastery, old & new harbour, Rector Palace & St. Blaise Church. The narrow streets invite investigation, and the friendly locals will entice with great food and delicious wines.

Magic walls
This year we wanted to do an activity holiday but not travel too far. Croatia was an ideal choice. When we Googled Croatia, we saw that Dubrovnik is a ‘must see’ on the list. And we couldn’t agree more. If you get a guide like our Ivona, you will actually find out a lot about European history, not only about Dubrovnik. She showed us one of the best local taverns in Dubrovnik, which we would never be able to find ourselves.

One word superb
One word that sums it all up – superb! Thanks for arranging it all. We will be recommending it to all our friends who are planning to visit Croatia in due course!

Snacks were provided
Do note this trip is quite long from Split to Dubrovnik, so not exactly great for bad hips like mine. Water, transfers and snacks were provided in a cool a/c van. Driver was polite and spoke very good English. More historical facts would have been nice, but the route and sights were lovely. Your staff are positive people and to be commended. We added a 10% kuna cash tip at the end, your staff deserved it.

Surprisingly inexpensive
Dubrovnik was brilliant, a very iconic place to visit. The red rooftops of the city and old town walls are really spectacular. We walked a lot and joined the Games of thrones city tour. There are many lovely boutique shops and the restaurants were surprisingly inexpensive. We had a lovely bottle of white wine for only £12.00 right in the heart of the city. This is a day trip we would recommend to other families. But ultimately we preferred Split, which has a lot more going for it, especially for teenagers and kids.

All worked out
The day trip to Dubrovnik was very nice. Mini bus was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. Our driver Jakov was professional and was happy to tell us more about Croatia’s history. He was happy to stop at scenic positions to take pictures and stopped for food when requested. Dubrovnik is definitely worthy of a day trip, but be prepared for the crowds. Overall, I’d say Dubrovnik was more for the parents than the kids. So we’ll give this day 3 stars. Maybe more ideas for kids and teenagers.

Games of thrones tour
We went for your family Dubrovnik ‘Games of Thrones’ experience with a stop in Omis to try climbing. All of us loved the trip and met some lovely families from the UK. It’s a great day tour and Dubrovnik is a delight. The longish bus ride is challenging enough for parents, but nothing we couldn’t cope with. Dubrovnik is perfectly safe, beautiful and great exercise to walk the whole old town walls. We had booked a lot of excursions in Europe and this one, is really worth its price. The only small criticism we would have is that the group was too big (5 families) but the guides were professional enough to manage the group efficiently.

The right leisure amount
The tour was good thanks. The bus routes were scenic, so a great blend of views as you travel to dubrovnik. After the Games of Thrones city tour, we booked cycling. Found the overall 3-4 hours of peddling to be the right leisure amount. I’d say cyclists need to be reasonably fit to enjoy the experience, my boys had no trouble but being the old timer my legs were a little tired by the end of the day. The trip was very affordable now I look back at the cost. The food was typical Croatian, simple, delicious and big portions. We were told the salads are just to hide the meats haha

Beautiful Unesco town
Your travel company was quick to recommend a lot of cool ideas and helped our family understand how to plan the right trip to the Dalmatia region. Everything worked like clockwork and we really enjoyed the Dubrovnik day trip. The atmosphere in this beautiful Unesco town is amazing. I could not fault your agency for day tour arrangements, so well done.

Superb value for money
Hi Nevin, exceptional trip. Your tour company can hold its head up high. The transfer and guide services you provided were top notch and as described. Dubrovnik is rich in culture with plenty to see and do. My two teenagers loved the kayaking, we only wished we had time to stay to do the old town walls climbing experience. Superb value for money and I would certainly use your day tours in the future.
