This Brac island adventure holiday is up there with my favourite holiday memories! A great way to see Croatia, visitng some of the Islands and taking in the stunning views everyday. We were lucky to be with some great families with teenagers so we had a lot of fun and a lot of silly laughs. Maybe more challenging than I was expecting, but for me that just made the experience all the more better! Very happy, please keep in touch for next year in Omis.

My review is as follows: My single parent holiday to Croatia was one of the highlights of the year. The weather was perfect, the guides were friendly and the scenery we got to see was nothing short of amazing. When I first arrived, I was a little skeptical how much I was going to enjoy myself. I need have not worried. Lots of mums and dads all in the same boat. The weather was perfect for riding, walking, swimming and chilling. This coupled with great company, great food, great activities, great everything made the week seem all the more amazing. We went for a week to Croatia and stayed in Omis. Weather was fantastic, ranging between 23 and 31 degrees Celsius. Location was perfect, had Split, Trogir and Omis (among others) for site seeing and plenty of activities near by. The activities we did were rafting, Zip-Lining, optional speed boat day, canyoning and sunset hike. All of the activities were well organised and I didn’t need to think about a thing whilst I was out there, could just relax and de-stress from work! Guides, hotel staff and people in general were very easy going, a great laugh, very positive and we got on really well; they really made the trip special and were very engaging so we got the most out of the trip. Prices were very good value out there a beer typically was around £2.00. In summary this was one of my top 5 holidays, I would recommend it to anyone.

Your family multi activity holiday in Croatia is simply incredible. Everything we expected and a lot more unexpected. Days consisted of breakfast on the balcony, doing a fun activity, cheap pizza, swim and sunbathe, beer on the balcony with book. Repeated! The families we met were so awesome, your crew worked quietly in the background. The gala meals included were a highlight and the socialable atmosphere around the table will make dinners seem so quiet now. Croatia is so special, maybe canyoning was my favourite for it’s amazing pristine waters but every place had it’s own personality and vibe. The locals are friendly, and don’t seem to mind the dad dancing and thirst for Croatian beer. We would recommend anyone looking to meet nice people, that like sports and nature to do your trips.

Greetings all, Please forgive the delay in making my feedback, it has been a little hectic of late! To answer your question in a nutshell: Our week Croatia family adventure holiday was excellent. Our tour leader Gio was particularly helpful and courteous. Croatia’s islands are beautiful and Brac is the best of thee bunch. Omis is full of history , culture and stunning coastal bays. Evenings were spent in many nice taverna bars inside the maze of narrow streets. The days were a perfect blend of active fun, great food and sunshine. My 12 year old daughter said this was her best holiday yet and my 17 year old has already mentioned coming back. Many thanks, I’m happy to write this review on TripAdvisor if that helps.

The Omis week itinerary really caught my attention, being able to achieve, do and see a lot in a short space of time. We actually combined this family Croatia active vacation with a longer tour I’d planned, heading from the north of Istria down to Dubrovnik. There were of course many highlights, but our stay in Omis with your exceptional team was the very best. Nothing negative to report, only positives, it ran like clockwork and actually we did more than the itinerary promised. The staff really go out there way to make you feel part of their family, it’s a lovely feeling. The Plaza hotel is a modern 4 star standard, the activity staff are 5 stars. Would I change anything? No I wouldn’t, it’s a great program, packed full of fun. And Yes, I would recommend people trying this multi active family holiday in Croatia, it won’t disappoint in anyway.

The Croatia teenager activity holiday was great thanks  and I only wish we could have stayed a few days longer!! Best day was canyoning and a close second being the kayaking or the optional boat trip with the other families. Omis is lovely, good food, great hotel and we met some lovely people. This was a lovely multi sport week, with loads of amazing water sports in Croatia; from moderate paddling through idyllic Dalmatia calm waters to foaming rapids. It was a nice contrast from water to land, again, seeing Croatia from a different perspective and the reason for needing a big memory card in my camera I recommend to bring a waterproof camera, great for this kind of teenager active holiday. Canyoning was our favourite activity for the whole family – seemed more adventurous than the other activities. Cycling was very good as well; it lasted for the right amount of time, with all the stops – great! Accommodation could improve if they include drying facilities in every room, otherwise the apartments were very good. It was fantastic that kids were allowed to use pool late at night! The reps were fab too. Listening to Croatian history and local knowledge of reps was very informative, interesting and added to the experience! Overall – excellent, thanks a lot! Our favourite activities were Sup boarding and biking, but we thoroughly enjoyed all activities. Lana and Russo are fantastic, always eager to please us. The sporting staff were wonderful, the apartment itself excellent position to the sea and village centre, walking distance to everything we needed. The best cocktail can be found at Cvic bar, also a great place to hide from the kids. However, there was no hiding from the next days morning head! We had a really fantastic time, the group got along so well. We take with us many fond memories of Croatia! We would recommend your family activity holiday in Brac island and Split. What an amazing country! What a great people! We loved every bit of our trip, special thanks to our guide Luka who made us feel safe all the way down the river despite our paddling abilities. If your kids are of that age, where they need to meet other teens, this is a brilliant idea. There a small company, with a big energy for customer service. Places are very limited to 5-7 families. We booked this trip 4 years ago and I apologise for not leaving a review. This is a brilliant trip, your kids will love it. My only comment is that the route for kayaking should be more suitable for bigger kids (mine were 10 & 11 and struggled in the end). I am not the biggest fan of water but jokes and funny stories that Daniel was telling us along the way made the trip so much fun. I’m glad that my kids talked me into this, as we did see the parts of rural Croatia we wouldn’t usually ever get to see.

River Cetina offers variety of levels, suitable for everyone. We would want to do this again for sure, the only thing is we would come back in July. It was an amazing family experience. First time on a kayak and never climbed before. The staff were very helpful, whenever you do something wrong, they give confidence and the skills. If you’re looking for an outdoors family activity hoiday in Croatia I’d definitely recommend a trip with Croatia Family holidays. The staff were fun and helpful from start to finish and we always felt safe with the instructors. We went in August and the heat was delightful. Gorgeous warm breezes and sunshine beaming off the Adriatic Sea. We didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed our island time leisurely paddling, biking, climbing, splashing, laughing, eating. This is a wow-factor holiday. Maybe not cheap, but totally worth it. Big family experience!

We hear this might be the last single parent adventure holiday in Croatia you might run, which is terrible news. We had a fantastic time, a lovely mix of mums and dads in the same boat. All the kids mixed well, with a few younger ones showing us parents up – doing the activities better than us! This is definitely a teenager activity holiday type experience. The activities team were awesome , enthusiastic and inclusive of all ages. The pool is great but not massive, and the beach is just a stroll away. We did the Croatia island adventure week in July this year and it was great! The temperature of the water was like bath water, I never wanted to get out. The location is perfect for families with kids or teenagers. All the ages got on really well. Your office staff were very transparent about ages/genders of other kids booked on. During the active holiday in Croatia we were guided by Russo and he did a great job! I imagine Brac will be in the spot light soon, so I urge families to get there now rather than later.

The Accommodation was very nice, clean, comfortable, each apartment overlooking the pool area. We spent 7 nights on this fabulous Croatia family adventure holiday on Brac island. Each day wassuperb, lots of laughing and playing with other families. The local village is just gorgeous, I could live there in a heartbeat. Here on our days off we used to spend the whole day without any need to go anywhere far. Everything is 5 minutes walk. Kids were safe, parents were happy, locals friendly. I was really impressed how clean Croatia is. The people are friendly and love to show off their culture and traditions. Go before the mass tourism comes. Activities were great, accommodation was excellent. My kids loved hanging out by the pool. As a parent of two teenagers, I was very relaxed the whole time being with other families and having your caring team there. We had a few teething issues with the WiFi and Aircon, but they got promptly fixed by your staff. But maybe test these things before the season starts. All in All a great Croatia active holiday was had and we would repeat it with you.

The Adriatic is picture perfect. A vast wonderful blue sea. We had many sublime days relaxing on pristine beaches and snorkelling in calm warm waters. Having a professional company organise everything is so easy and stress free, I have no idea why we hadn’t started doing this three years ago. My boys are 15, 17 and 21 and they all loved it. Canyoning, climbing, cycling, SUP boarding were family favourites. Jump, hike, swim, paddle, splash, laugh, eat, drink, play, chill, repeat. My only problem with the trip, is that we missed the 7.30pm welcome gala meal. I feel we should have been told better about that start time, so we could have found the right flights. Antonella was a great tour leader and we loved Jospia.

Defo enjoyable days and fun nights. We met lots of nice families, the accommodation super and very safe for kids. Tour Leaders were masterful at there craft. Obviously professional and flexible to our needs. Russo was great with the kids and engaging with the parents. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. For people that are traveling responsibly. These are low impacting activities on the environment and this company supports conservation and pro-actively encourages ec0 policies. We donated to their clean beaches charity, which the company matched in donation. We thought that was nice, and very different to big companies. We had a great stay.

This was our first experience of a family adventure holiday and Croatia seemed to be very fitting. Warm weather, gorgeous blue sea, epic canyons, affordable food and friendly locals. We loved this active holiday in Croatia and would recommend to others, as long as you like sport and appreciate nature. This is not your typical holiday. These are small groups of families, that want to socialise and bond together. Your company really brings out the best in us all. It was just wonderful to experience it with my 3 teenagers. River tubbing was my personal favourite, but I’m sure if you asked Daisy, Hannah and Oliver, they would say a different day. All were special for different reasons. I also like the fact you are an eco minded company. Just be sure you are genuinely fit enough to book an adventure holiday. This is adventure that meets relaxation, so I believe there is something for everyone. The accommodation was perfect and better than expected, we liked the sun lounging area and the beach was 5 minutes walk away. We will be booking with you again. All the Tour Leaders and guides have been fabulous from the initial contact with the office to the staff at the resort. Big shout to Drinna for joining in the activities and guiding us to so much fun. Speed boat was epic, as was the canyoning. Local people made us feel very welcome and we found many wonderful sides to this Dalmatia area. Top tip – buy water shoes for pebble beaches.

This two week family adventure holiday surpassed expectations. It offered more time and experiences than other similar active holidays abroad. You have a superbly attentive team who all seem to really enjoy what they do. There are no weak moments on this trip. Food during gala meals was traditional and even enjoyed by my fussy 15 and 17 year olds. The cheap beer was appreciated by the dads in the group, and I believe mums loved the fact, that little thinking had to be done. Excellent active vacation in Croatia, many thanks to all of you. Staff were friendly, and very sweet with my youngest son Toby. Zara my eldest loved meeting so many girls her own age, which took the pressure off mum and dad. We all felt ‘Looked after’ and really can see why people rave about Croatia. The food is Italian style, but maybe less refined with bigger portions. The nature is simply beautiful and the activities we experienced were extremely well operated. We really respect how your company runs the daily tours and co-ordinates with all the families. Its not an easy job, but you make it look easy. We had a great stay and would encourage others to simply ‘Go!’

We’ve been so looking forward to it, regularly watching your videos and following your Facebook feeds. Now we are home and very sad, and very much missing you guys! It’s really hard to say what our favourite day was. Sea kayaking was relaxing and scenic, canyoning was an explorers heaven and tubbing was laughs per minute. The views were stunning, the guides were friendly and the activities very varied to keep up our interest levels. My three teenagers were not bored. Top tips for parents, try to increase your fitness before hand. Some mums struggled and didn’t enjoy the experience as much as everyone else. You don’t have to be incredibly fit, but those that never exercise or carrying that chocolate timber, they might want to walk the dog a bit more. This is a family activity holiday after all. Overall this family activity holiday in Croatia was well planned and operated. Guides were all local and very friendly. My kids loved them! So did I !

If you haven’t been to Croatia, then you must go! If you are going to go, then book with Croatia Family Holidays. Apart from the bus driver that got us lost on the way to climbing (it was funny though), this family activity holiday is the best we’ve experienced in Europe (now our 6th trip). Brac island is delightful, and without mass tourism. The water is gorgeous, you can literally spend hours swimming and snorkelling and not get cold. Our favourite activity was SUP boarding and the climbing (when we got there lol). Really well organised and many thanks to Russo, and Dan the Man.

This was a very memorable holiday, possibly our best. Although this is not 5 star accommodation, the apartments are in wonderful locations, very safe, and have all the modern facilities – bu for this families that can afford luxury hotels, please remember this is an adventure Croatia family vacation.  The welcomes meals and farewell meals were all in different locations, so we felt like we really getting to see more of Croatia at every twist and turn of the activity holiday. Your staff and guides really go the extra yard, to create an authentic experience. We really appreciated this. Our favourite guide is impossible to say. On the island of Brac we had Russo and Daniel, representing the mainland adventure week (our second week) there was the fabulous Sara and Maria. My boys said the boat trip was their favourite day, but as a family we absolutely loved rafting and SUP boarding. It was nice to connect with my two boys and not to feel like I was cramping their style.

My husband, myself  and kids in tow had an amazing holiday with you. Everything can be labelled as excellent. Very well organised and informative guide/drivers (Russo in particular, who is so patient with the noisy teens). He is an excellent guide, always safety conscious and knowledgeable about the area. He showed a genuine interest in our lives in the UK as well as giving us plenty information about Croatia life. Our kids loved him to bits (so did i… but don’t tell my husband). All the other families were hilarious and great company. This is a must-do trip for families wanting to connect with their children, before they disappear off to Ibiza & Zante.

The white water rafting and sea kayaking were nothing short of awesome, and the whole experience from start to finish on this trip was simply fantastic (best ever from my 11 year old son who got to paddle, splash and laugh with many peers). Croatia Family holidays create a nice balance during the week, and there is plenty of beach time. Croatia’s history is rich, but we had no idea how diverse the nature is here! We were truly wow’ed by the breath taking canyons, waterfalls, mountains, and rivers. Wow! The week was fabulous thanks. We had so much fun. Favourite activity: SUP boarding closely followed by the sea kayaking tour close to the mainland. Accommodations for both weeks were very good, comfortable beds. We loved the fact everything was there what we needed; ATM, supermarket, swimming pool and free Wifi. Our guides on Brac island were excellent. I graded the equipment and safety as excellent throughout. When asked about the apartment standard of rooms, food and the staff, again..yes – excellent. In fact the food – Amazing! The portions were huge and so really filling, perfect for after a mad day of activities. Overall experience, u guessed it – excellent. Oh and can i just also praise the office staff. The knowledge and support of your travel manager was excellent. We had never heard of Brac island and grateful we listened to you. I was recommended to try Croatia by my neighbour and was certainly enticed by your facebook pictures. This 14 night family adventure was one of the most memorable times of our family lives. Seriously, it was none stop fun for the whole family and not just my restless 17 & 18 year olds. We met some great people along the way (especially the other families booked on). We laughed & screamed throughout the trip. We loved the thrilling bike descents on Brac island, taking on river rapids and sliding down the canyon hot pools. Thank you so much, this was great from start to finish, its a shame you guys only offer Croatia.

We had a great stay on Brac island and very much enjoyed our stay with your team. For me, I liked the fact we were kept entertained and busy. My husband is a bit more of a pool and book man, but even he loved the new challenges and experiences. We made lots of new friends during the activity days, and most we only 5-15 minute bike away. So we often buddied up with other families during afternoons and evenings. We participated in some incredible activities and the staff were great personalities and very kind to our 2 kids. The facilities for the sports we booked were brilliant and 100% safe, no grumbles there. Apartment was very nice and of course the location is divine. Brac was a lovely place to chill, and we even made it to the mainland one day to see Split. The island is very picturesque and NOT a bit over run with tourists, so glad we came to Brac instead of Hvar. Overall, the combination of activities was right for our family, the Croatians were a delight and I would recommend to others seeking this type of family vacation to go for it. Not too happy to be back in front of my computer, but more than happy to write this review of our Podstrana adventure week. It started with an on time easy jet flight (hurray!!) and not a massive fan of flying, I was pleased that the flight is a very short one. No issues at Split airport (its tiny), it’s a walk through airport, bags all there (well done Easyjet) and our driver was there to greet us. The drive to Podstrana is just under 45 minutes, but didn’t seem as long as that. It was a relaxed opportunity to meet other guests who had arrived on the same flight. Of course we picked up on the essential information and local lingo (names of local beers for dads). Soon we were checked in and trying our first Croatian cold beer, chilling out on the sun terrace, lazing in the calm heat. The sunsets are epic here! And your kids will never want to leave the swimming pool! First and last evening we had a fantastic 3 course meal and our hosts didn’t drop the baton the whole week. Can’t really ask for more. I probably put more weight on and this was an active holiday in Croatia we booked lol ( ironic hey!!). My favourite day was canyoning, closely by the river tubing. But throughout there were special moments and I was smart enough to buy an all weather proof camera, so have captured alot (mainly adults screaming like little kids). The days long, fun filled and the nights a blast. The guides are very cool and great at what they do. They definitely added to the family adventure holiday experience we had. What would I advise to other travels?! Not a lot. The thinking is done for you. Get in touch with your active side and head to Split and meet Maria, Ante and Russo.

The Brac active holiday was great fun. We were blown away by the raw nature and thought all the local Croatians we came in contact with were charming. Food was delicious; so much organic farming and fresh produce you certainly came back feeling fit and invigorated. Great trip – thank you!

We had a lovely active holiday with you in Croatia and met some very nice families in our group. Croatia was beautiful and the apartments were very good. We probably enjoyed Brac island more, as the beaches were nearer and nicer. We liked the use of the bikes to navigate around the place quicker. The food was marvellous but the selection of  Gin & Whiskey drinks isn’t always great (obviously fine for kids, just a little grumble for adults). Our Tour Manager was brilliant. Russo was always there whenever we needed him, not in your face, but always discreetly in the background. On a number of occasions he provided us with extra advice which greatly contributed to the enjoyment of this water sports holiday in Croatia. Russo did mention he would share his pictures, how will he do this ?

We got married in Split many years ago in the old town and often talked about the area with our children. So now the children being 13 and 16, we thought we’d show them the beauty of this country. Initially, we had settled on Hvar island, but are now so thankful of your guidance – to have reconsidered and chosen Brac as our base for 10 nights. Maria was our travel manager and couldn’t have been more helpful. The apartments were fantastic. Nice swimming pool, WiFi to keep the kids happy and the sea was a short stroll away. Inside the apartments, best described as: modern , fresh, clean and well run, so no complaints but don’t come for luxury. The nearby supermarket was perfect for daily breakfast. Throughout our stay the staff were amazing, friendly on reception, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Climbing was a fantastic experience, and super booster to me personally, as I’m not that comfortable with heights. I’m so happy I’d didn’t sit out or change the activity! Second favourite for me, but the family fav was definitely the sea kayaking. Transfers worked well, and even no complaints with EasyJet. All in, a wonderful trip. Many thanks.

If you have never been to Croatia then this 2 week family adventure holiday is an ideal starting place. We felt that the trip offered great value and should not be missed if coming here! Split was fabulous, the streets bustling with life and a great eye opener for my two girls, who aren’t used to big city life. We travelled in a small group of 18 of various ages, and all the families got on really well. It was a shame our 10 year old didn’t have someone her own age, but i guess that’s the luck of the draw. You did explain that this type of trip attracts more teenagers. Accommodation was brilliant and we loved the swimming pool. The food throughout the holiday was stupendous, truly 5 stars – as was our tour manager ‘Maria’. I cannot recommend this holiday enough. Enjoy.

Croatia was beyond our expectations; which were already quite high. Being a geography teacher I think I had been secretly hoping we would do this holiday for a very long time but I was glad we did wait until the kids were teenagers and had chance to understand the scale and beauty. We had some special moments and I did my best to keep lectures to an absolute minimum and just let everyone soak it in their own way. Definitely I can say everyone came back buzzing! Croatia is beautiful and we had a delightful experience doing all the arranged activities and enjoyed meeting like-minded families too. My 17 year old son and I especially enjoyed the sea kayaking and also the canyoning. What was great about this water sports holiday is that you don’t need to take too much kit, as quality equipment is provided within the package price. A top tip would be to bring water shoes, as beaches are mainly pebbles in Croatia. The food included was very good and accommodation fantastic, it really added to the occasion. Of course the main event was meeting your tour Leaders, i had to hold back the tears from all the laughter we had every day and night. No hesitation in recommending this holiday to others. This an excellent family activity holiday based close to Split. Friendly staff and drivers throughout the week and wonderful food included. Activity routes are very picturesque and last but not least the guides,  Russo, Ante & Damir, provided a brilliant smiley service. Being a guided family trip, we felt more relaxed, and more engaged with our surroundings.  Some days were longer than others and more information on timings would be useful for future guests in my opinion.

My wife and kids spent a week here. The accommodation was simply amazing. Rooms were of a 3 star nature, but the views were 5 stars. Most important were the very friendly staff who really tried to make your stay enjoyable. Our local guide Russo was a true gent. The tubing days worked very well, with good equipment provided by your tour leaders. Guided tours were diverse and well organised. Overall very good value and thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Remember to pack lots of sun cream, Croatia is blue skies and hot. Old trainers recommended, although you can rent canyoning boots at the shop. We were advised to bring one large beach towel, we would say bring two per head.

This is our second time I have visited here. Croatia is definitely a place to fall in love with and we will definitely keep coming back. Podstrana is a great place to base yourself. We tried Omis in the past, but it is overwhelmed with people and cars. Omis is a good place to visit but not to stay. With a family of 4 teenagers, Podstrana is definitely a calmer and safer environment to be in. Your private accommodation is a 4 star quality, modern furnishings, gorgeous pool, luxury style sunbeds. Bedrooms were very comfortable and exceeded my expectations, well maintained and the balconies had gorgeous sea views. My bedroom air conditioning wasn’t working on one of the days, and all was sorted very quickly. It really showed, how passionate and caring the staff are. The weather was perfect, not too hot or stuffy at night, sunshine throughout the day. Our days were planned professionally and led by Jalko and Jelena. From deep canyons to old towns, we really felt the real Croatia. All our guides were helpful, speaking English and getting the teenagers stuck in. We met 4 other families, so matching the children’s ages was a plus factor to the family activity holiday. Points for improvement of the trip? Well not for the accommodation staff or the Reps, 2 BIG thumbs up to both! Maybe some local maps on arrival? Add some snacks for the longer activity days? BBQ night on the terrace ? fyi – These are all small pointers and certainly not big criticisms. We would like to thank everyone that made this Croatia active holiday one of our best times ever. Canyoning and rafting on the Cetina River was a dream come true. Thanks from all of us x

This was our first European vacation as a family and Croatia was the last part of our 5 week journey. As a family, we have always loved the outdoors and participating in sports and regularly trying any new adventures but had yet to combine this with a holiday experience. Our first idea was to do this in France, but after comparing the costs against Croatia, there were significant financial advantages. Our first contact with your company was Jakov, very friendly and responsive on e-mails, which gave us the confidence to book with you. We decided not to tailor make a private tour and to join  your 2 week adventure holiday. This was a great decision as we met some wonderful families and my 3 teenagers met a lot of like minded boys and girls. Your instructors were very friendly, lively and entertaining. Jelena, Marija and Jalko really went out of their way for the guests. Podstrana was gorgeous, loved the beach and quick access to the Sea and so close to Omis and Split. During the first week, we would say the canyoning cetina tour and mini raft (optional extra we all booked) were the most loved. On Brac Island, Windsurf and SUP boarding was the most challenging but the one we’ll all remember most. Brac island was the perfect contrast for the second week of stay. Again your hosts and reps there are superb. We loved the private apartment block and swimming pool. We are so happy we tried this two week activity vacation in Croatia  with you guys, many thanks.
